  1. This is where saying the wrong thing or saying too much can get you in all kinds of hot water both legal and the blacklist kind (how dare you besmirch the reputation of such a fine pilot and businessman, etc... I hear people gushing about what a great guy he is and I just shake my head.) Looking back I always think of one very unpleasant owner who was so worried about the "reputation" of his company to get the job done that he berated me for not taking risks and overloading the machine to complete the job. He said if i didn't go back and do it he would get the new guy to go and finish. I was torn about completing the job myself or saying f it and he would have sent an inexperienced pilot to take risks that were even beyond what i would have considered safe or could manage and was very upset to the point that it affected my concentration and performance for days after and all he did was belittle me. I no longer work there but others do and i think about the new guys that saw what he did or for that matter what I did and that i caved in and went back out. What kind of message did the owner and/or i send for that matter to the new guys?
  2. Remember back in the day the Air Canada thing with Airbus and Boeing? The official findings were that there were never any payoffs... In my fairy tale world there are no bad bosses, no corruption and no bribes payed for preferential treatment.
  3. Lots of people dying and no one is able to or willing to say why. Lots of airline pilots having issues but there are many more of them than there are of us. As usual i think this can be solved by following the money. Had a friend in PG drop dead literally last summer and can not find out why. Unknown cause... I was going to make a little joke but there seems to be a whole blizzard's worth of snowflakes here 'bouts. Well it's winter so... I hope the link worked, it's KUSI News doing an interview about excess deaths with Dr Kelly Victory.
  4. I too am curious to know why there was a crash and how the pilot died. An investigation might reveal if it was something mechanical or if the pilot died suddenly or would you rather just put your head in the sand and shrug and carry on as if nothing happened? Being offended if someone wonders if there would be an autopsy is perplexing to me or is there another reason besides being offended for the deceased?
  5. Why would you not want to know the cause of death? It's important for aviation safety to make sure we are mitigating all causes to perhaps prevent more deaths in the future. Regret transparency for safety's sake and delete the post? Really...
  6. Here is the link, he recites many pilot incapacitated. https://www.bitchute.com/video/RD9kMtJotfEJ/
  7. This is exactly what i was thinking, you have a bad actor who calls names and tries to scuttle the conversation and instead of dealing with him the moderator says if the bad acting continues i will shut down the thread. What the ...? There are lots of us who are concerned with how our government behaved and how our freedoms were taken away and we want to talk about it. Where i come from if someone behaves badly they get punished not everyone. So give little rotor a time out and let the rest of us have a conversation.
  8. I did take my fathers advice, he told me that war is a big waste and the commoner gets killed and nothing changes. He told me only ever take up arms to defend your own turf if it comes to that. He never spoke much of the war but he talked of trying to survive it and had very little love for government and no time for "remembrance day", a platitude the super wealthy throw the poor to justify their slaughter.
  9. All wars are bankers wars, the kids of the poor go to fight so the rich get richer. As for sacrifice, for who do those who go to war to kill sacrifice? Who benefits? Certainly not the two guys who stare down the barrels of their guns at each other across the barbed wire. My father passed away a few years ago, a teen WW2 vet, he came from an eastern European family of 11 (9 kids) and of those only he and his two sisters survived so i know a bit about sacrifice and how that all works. Like i said in my other post you have to see the progression to totalitarianism. A little bit of Dr. Jordan B Peterson might enlighten you or is he too right wing?
  10. I am not against vaccines, i am against being forced to take something that is dubious at best. Our government went against the Nuremberg code and they were building internment camps and freezing the bank accounts of people who did not agree with them but did nothing violent. If that doesn't worry you then i don't know what to say. First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. — Martin Niemöller
  11. Here is a link to a video of mostly young athletes, some dying, some collapsing. https://rumble.com/v1dvc6n-1000-athletes-collapsing-dying-heart-problems-blood-clots-march-2021-to-jun.html
  12. Thanks for posting that guy collapsing doeyhere, that was quite a site. Maybe he just had too much sugar in his coffee?
  13. I liked your comment about sitting in a machine in the heat and how waiting wasn't "work". You do have a choice, sit in the machine and BAKE or douse yourself in bug juice and lay under the machine but then there's ants and wasps and all other kinds of pleasurable interactions to look forward to. TIME is our most precious commodity and if we give it away for free at work it comes at the expense of time at home or doing other non work related activities.
