  1. Fill your Bambi with water then add the balls, works like a charm I wouldn't suggest doing it on the Green as the balls leave a lot of marks, we place a marker on the fairway and closest too wins the prize.

  3. This is where we could learn from the guys in Europe! it should ultimately be the chief pilots decision who flys what! not some consultant.....many 1000 hour pilots have more operational experience than guys with 3 or 4 times the hours! Good luck Daz and keep at it!
  4. Shakey its guys like you that personify everything that is bad in this industry
  5. Shakey....you should give up and sell shoes or Big Macs! but I doubt you could do either well!
  6. Lineworker....I am curious if you "wouldn't do it again" why are you still doing it now?
  7. I think we should also say the pilot who was flying this Helicopter was a really great guy! An awesome father who loved his kids and good friend to all who knew him! RIP RL
  8. Mr T sucks!....... ATR is one of the best besides Rupert's land! ATR works awesome in the mountains and foothills! when Abe was alive this bagrunner had the best support out there! I have personally picked and rolled over 5000 channels of equipment with the ATR and had no missed bags! And I am not a smooth seismic pilot! Mr T is way to short! We used to clean the ATR every am with a brush and it would work great! I have flown Seismic for over 15 years and would choose the ATR or Rupert's Land any day!
  9. I remember this posting for a pilot and thought it was very well written and a break from the norm! Chill out Seeker!
  10. Never had a problem falling asleep to the sound of the generator and its gentle hum, usually had my "walkman" on, and yes I said "walkman" so I am that old!!. Once when working nights we were to close to the core shack and the saw kept us up , a nice convo with the camp manager and voila our tent was moved. Camp work isn't everyone's cup of tea and no one is forced to do it (to my knowledge at least) many different options for helicopter pilots in Canada that's the beauty of the job!
  11. Perhaps Vertical has implemented an SMS system, and like most SMS's sytstems it's working perfectly! .......but seriously it does suck and has been like this for the last 2 weeks!
  12. Yeah really! are Diamond Drills and Heli Bags gonna grow legs and move themselves? forest fires going to stop burning and skiers going to walk to the top of the mountain? Do tell!
  13. Fort St John base was also sold to Bailey and Yellowhead has put in an offer for the remaining assets, VIH will no longer have a VFR division.....that's what I've been told.......that info and $4.95 will get you a coffee at Starbucks I also heard the Oilers traded Greztky???
  14. Plus he said Anal!!! hahahaha sorry that doesn't get old especially with my grade 10 edumacation!
