  1. Hey, all the best to anybody trying to make a mark or improve things and make a few bucks doing it. But sure like the government to suddenly jump in with both feet to solve a problem which is easily solvable by starting VFR bucketing operations at 05:30. It’s legal light in CYOJ until 01:30 to.
  2. Flat light, grey light, snow covered lakes, long lining … just yuck. I went the other way around. I have a yellow visor in my 050, and use a pair of thin framed Sunny’s when I need them.
  3. Just measure your seat. Get one closest. The one w/ a adjustable valve to drain it to your comfort level while sitting in it, is best. Life changing. And a lot of people hate me for saying it, but regular sit ups, planks and core work of your choice will take your recovery and seat endurance to a whole new level.
  4. Door was off, to reach for Jesus. He’s good.
  5. Thanks guys. Gives me a few things to think about. Appreciate it
  6. Anybody here spend a lot of time on end of a line, or swampy confined areas with grass/willows up to your butt, that use progressive lenses for corrective eyewear? Just trying to figure out transitioning my eyes near to far and back again, and possible peripheral vision impairments? Note: Vision is + 20/20 uncorrected out the window. TIA
  7. Except that WCB Reg’s are provincial, as far as most of our clients are concerned, and Flight Duty Time Reg’s are federally mandated. Yes, there is coverage for Federally regulated employees (us), but it’s pretty loose imo. Can’t see it happening.
  8. With all the self proclaimed Doctors on this site (Do your research!), at least, maybe, it will be easier to at least get a real prostate exam.
  9. Nope…that’s what FB is for. Or there is already a “Conversation” forum down below. They can try out that topic there.
  10. Sorry bud. Was just giving my solution from an experience much like yours. Didn’t think the boat getting better lift than me bore repeating.
  11. Done canoes, and aluminum boats… not worth the stress of one of the handles breaking off, or the ****** flight and go around to re rig if it doesn’t fly right in the first place. Just put it in a net. Strap 2 together, and put the boat in that if you need to. Put the motor in the boat. Preferably over a rock so the rock is at the bottom of the net when you lift off.
  12. Yeah… anybody else lift a whole pipeline?
  13. Join KIJIJI. Set up notifications for a Roho that comes up for sale. Usually a couple 2-300 ish. it’s pretty **** good in the A Stars and 500’s
