  1. I've been in the industry over 35 years, and have attended both HAC and HAI as an employee. I would highly recommend attending. Seeing all the aircraft, most of which will never be operated in Canada, the people in the industry. Catching up with old faces. The manufacturer's technical briefings. Best of all, the private receptions in the evenings, as the big companies show their appreciation to their customers, their clients.
  2. He was well over 90. Showed up to work every day. Lived a full life.

  6. Exempt categories: Air ambulance, Flights to remote communities, Flights conducted in the course of a business of the owner of the aircraft.

  8. Make sure the tail rotor is in track. Place a piece of masking tape on the horizontal stab and note where the T/R blade lines up. Then rotate the assembly until the other blade is at the stab and see where it lines up. Try and get this as close as you can before balancing a t/r.
  9. Bill Adams was the original AME off the base. Very meticulous.
  10. Hope Aero is the distributor for the Chadwick vibration unit. They have all the accessories you need.
  11. I would imagine the Airbus Helicopter crew in Fort Erie would have much of the information you're looking for.
