  1. Hey All, I have recently gone out on my own as a contractor. I am sure finding it hard, if not impossible, to find anyone who will cover me for the flying aspect of my life. I have been offered a plan where it is with the exception of anything to do with aviation or any aviation related disabilities. I have asked if I lose my medical if that is considered disability, but they will only look at it as a case by case. Does anyone know and insurer who will cover me?! While flying? Is there an association or group in Canada I can join where they have a group plan where the aviation clause is waived? Loss of medical, licence? I pay my own WCB. How much does WCB take care of? I know I am not the first in this position and it is ridiculous that none of the Insurance salesman want to help.... Thanks in advance!
  2. Well it was one heck of a ride. Everyone walked away without a scratch. I dont care to get into the details or do it again. I'm sure it will be published in the next safety letter, so the full story will be there. Thanks for your concern everyone
