Last year, a total of 986 respondents participated in the first edition of the survey, providing the most detailed overview to date of what helicopter manufacturers are doing right, and what they can do better. MHM Photo MHM Publishing, publisher of Vertical Magazine, is pleased to announce the return of the Vertical Helicopter Manufacturers Survey, the first manufacturers product survey created by the helicopter industry, for the helicopter industry. The survey questions helicopter operators, pilots, and maintenance engineers around the world on their satisfaction with helicopter manufacturers’ products and services. Last year, a total of 986 respondents participated in the first edition of the survey, providing the most detailed overview to date of what helicopter manufacturers are doing right, and what they can do better. “While other magazines have conducted industry surveys in the past, these general aviation publications reach only a small segment of the helicopter industry,” explained Vertical publisher Mike Reyno. “With the incredible response to our first annual survey, we reached a truly representative cross-section of the industry, providing manufacturers with real, actionable information on what their customers want and need.” This year, the Vertical Helicopter Manufacturers Survey will run from March 23 through April 11. Active members of the helicopter industry can complete the survey at www.pmgintelligence.com/vertical. As a thank you for completing the survey, 10 entrants will be randomly picked to receive a $50 VISA gift card. Complete results will be published in the June-July 2016 issue of Vertical. To ensure the objectivity of the survey, MHM Publishing has once again partnered with the independent research firm PMG Intelligence, a member of the Market Research Intelligence Association (MRIA). The organization is the authoritative voice for the marketing and public opinion research and marketing intelligence industry, and members must adhere to the strict guidelines set forth through the MRIA. Unlike some other helicopter industry surveys — which share respondents’ answers and identifying details with manufacturers — the Vertical Helicopter Manufacturers Survey will ensure that individual responses remain completely anonymous. Respondents will not be contacted as a result of their responses without their permission. “We were encouraged by the success of our 2015 survey, and are excited to be repeating it this year,” Reyno said. “It’s a powerful way to give all of our readers, from the largest operators to the smallest, the chance to provide meaningful feedback to the companies that design and build their aircraft.” For questions about the survey, please contact Mike Reyno at mike@mhmpub.com or 1-519-748-1591. About MHM Publishing MHM Publishing is a family-run publishing firm founded in 2002 by husband and wife duo Mike and Linda Reyno. The company employs a core 16-person staff, as well as nearly three dozen regular contributors. With a focus on aviation magazine titles, MHM publishes Vertical magazine for the North American civil helicopter market, Vertical 911 for the parapublic helicopter industry, Skies for the North American aviation market, and now Ascend for aviation tradeshows. The MHM family of aviation magazines, along with the as-it-happens exclusive online coverage provided on the Vertical and Skies websites, remains committed to delivering current and relevant stories from the front lines of the aviation industry. From timely news and key insights, to stunning photography and unique stories, MHM’s contributors travel the world to bring readers the stories that affect their operations.
