  1. After many months of avoiding this forum I finally had a few beer and decided to take a peek mainly out of pure boredom. I sit here sipping away trying to put into words my feelings towards my career in this industry. I honestly would have a hard time telling a young keen individual to actually pursue a career in helicopters at this current time...and even worse this terrible state of the industry. For one its a young persons game if you are going to get in.... do it as soon as you can, because as most people have already said you're going to have to put in time and years to get to a place t
  2. haha as usual Pilot5 i think you are trying to send us back to the old hiring canadians fight..... was just trying to get some feedback from some people who are actually happy with where they have been working lately and get one of these post in this forum from going in the tank and at this time I am glad I stuck around my current company things are better are looking up but hard times might be in the future of the heli game again if the world can't get there financials in order and get out of all this recession talk

In the last 4-5 years I have seen many experienced guys in my company slowly get pulled away for promises of better tours, medium time or just more money or just for the fact that they are sick of the "SAME OLD #### SHOW" In most cases the guys I have talked to seem to come to the same conclusion that the

  11. I would strongly advise the laser eye surgery. I got my eyes zapped before I got my lisence. The procedure now is so quick and easy pretty much walkin in get zapped and go home. There are follow up eye appointments and a litte bit of a waiting period before you can get your medical but the best money I have spent. I went from poor vision to better than 20/20 vision . as far as any side effects I havent noticed any.
