  1. Not to sound like an as* hole but those things cost money too. Imagine if he gave everything away for free?
  2. I had a problem with a C20B it was stalling on start up and sometimes in flight. I turned the FCU down, no go, rigging check, no go, comp wash, wait, heard some rubbing. So I opened it up and what did I find but a hole one inch long by 1/8 wide in the rotor itself. The #1 bearing had .009 radial play. Well that solved that problem, and in six and a half hours one compressor later we were on our way. And yes I pulled the turbine. Just my thoughts.
  3. Anywhere between 350 to 425 a day, 45 to 60 bucks an hour plus all the extras that come along with being an engineeraway from home. Hope this helps.
  4. Pardon.........I hope that would be some sort of fleet pay. If this is the case not bad, if they are flying lots of hours. If not, wow i am speechless, I hope its a fleet pay.
  5. valid point. avoid the big piles of s#i#.
  6. Sure was a pleasure. Very big loss for FSJ operator. Good luck L.T. Keep in touch.
  7. Darcor.................I like your style. And oh ya, I do hear the crickets. P.S. Thanks to everyone who responded to the post, lots of good comments. :punk:
  8. Thank you 212 wrench. As you can see I dont have 10-20 years experiance on mediums, but one day I will and those numbers would be realistic. 70K is a good figure, but when does it go up?Or does it? Fenestron you seem to know alot about pay , maybe you should tell all of us about when pay changes for endorsements and experienced gained over the years. Maybe pay goes up, maybe it goes down, or maybe thats why theres a shortage of engineers and pilots. Is the pay competitive. Or is not? I think it good. I think 55 is a little low but thats a huge pay increase from right now.You seem to be able
  9. For real. I said constructive comments only. 70K a year, lets get serious.
  10. I know this has been asked in the past, but try to amuse me. A licensed engineer for 5 and a half years, proficient on the 206, astar and has a managerial background, gets endorsed on the 205. Whats a reasonable wage. Not trying to start a war, just wondering whats fair for the person and the company. Constructive comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  11. I know its kind of been a while but, I think if the company is watching 15 mins that closley, do you want to be there. What else are they cheeping out on. Maint? Now in my opinion coffee breaks are 15 min not 30 min or longer. So watch for that. But I think that is is funny you mention this because I know a few good guys that are going thru this as we speak. J.S.?
