  6. Yes I've herd about people that have done a cross Atlantic flight from the East cost of Canada to Greenland to Iceland to Ireland, in a Single Engine A/C. Has any one herd of this? Is it possible to do? If so how and what sort of A/C do you need to do such an assume adventure..... Oh and a merry XMASS to all DWR

  9. Yes i just read my local newspaper and it tell me that having an illigal satilate ( doesn't say what one to be exact DSS or Bell express view) can have false distress on the 121.5 feq. How is this possible???? can anyone please elablorate! shouldn't aviation have there own freq's and how can the FAA and TC allow this to happen.

  12. yes i'm looking to do my ifr but not till like 1-2 years from now as i have little hours. just wondering what books are good to get to stufy from till then so i can really understand the ifr stuff before i go to the school of my choice :up:

  15. yes have a question that i need help with for school.... it goes like so? 1.With a CRFI report of .21 in -35, what is the max. headwind and crosswing compenents? That is the question if you can answer it please explain how you get the winds with out the winds in the question as i see in the aip in air 1-14 it the chart for this but they give the wind at tower for you... but my question no winds???? :shock:
