Aww man now I feel like a jerk. Sangjeet, im sorry that I got upset when I told you I wanted the HBO package and you gave me the Movietime package instead. Craig, I’m sorry that I yelled at you when you implied that I wasn’t using the iCloud properly. I still don’t know what that is. Ling, I’m sorry I hung up on you when you wouldn’t take off the overage charges because I used too much data last month. Customer service representatives around the world. What are your thoughts on this crash
BrockLanders replied to green arc's topic in General Helicopter Operations
I’m pretty sure there’s a a video of that same accident filmed from inside the machine and you can hear the low rotor horn blaring for most of the short flight. I’ll post it if I can find it. -
Helicopter crash in Ontario... 4 dead
BrockLanders replied to Winnie's topic in General Helicopter Operations
A sad story for sure. I’m glad that the TSB is releasing informations so quickly. When I flew jet rangers I was taught not to fly lower than 20 gallons but only because that was your 20 minute reserve with 10 gal unusable with failed boost pumps. Which should be a 40 min reserve with boost pumps working. If I flamed out at 20 Gal or even 15 gal I’d be pissed.

http://www.timescolonist.com/news/local/pilot-dead-passenger-injured-in-campbell-river-area-helicopter-crash-1.23053223 looks like the deceased female was actually the pilot in command and not a passenger as was previously reported. No name released yet but I’ve heard through the grapevine and she was a pretty well respected pilot in the industry. Condolences to friends and family Both occupants were licenced pilots though. Training flight maybe?

PPC Required ..... but its a curly one !
BrockLanders replied to Heli_Al's topic in General Helicopter Operations
Can't you just pay to get a PPC at a flight school? Surely if they're authorized to issue commercial licences they should be able to issue a PPC? I dunno. A quick phone call could clear that up.
