  1. The real issue is that the customers are asking for 500+ twin time not the fact that some piece seat meat can fly the a/c. Makes it difficult to find drivers and abide by the customer regs in a rapidly growing twin market!
  2. I have a few friends that work for Geo-tech. They have nothing but good things to say about them. I have not worked for them so cannot personally say that it is a great place to work. I do feel that you can't go by what others say what might be good for me might be bad for you. Best to give Geo Tech a call and get a feel for the company.
  3. 85- 100 is what I use prefer in the A-star and have most of my experience with. For jobs that required longer lines then I will use them 125,150 etc..... But other than it is all preference.
  4. Heartfelt condolences to all the familes and friends involved, sad moment.

  6. It doesnt look like good news, http://www.cbc.ca/canada/north/story/2010/...ter-search.html. I am workin a hundred miles from pond and the weather has been horrible. Sad moment for all of us. Sending my condolences to family and friends and to all involved. Hits close to home worked with a lot of guys from Goose Bay. I am lost for words.
  7. Things are picking up the base where I work, 1 of the "broom pushers are getting there training in the next few weeks. Plus the miners convention is going on as we speak so hopefully things are gonna pick up. Hang in there, I know I am tiring. On another note has any other companies giving raises to there employees??
  8. I was under the impression that HTS doesn't have an IFR O/C!! How can the bid on a contract that requires one?? Unless someone has any info stating otherwise!!
  9. I have had the great experience to work with the AME over the past couple of months, my heart weighs heavy for both there families and friends. There isn't a moment through the day that I don't worry about them. Hoping and praying for a positive outcome. Otto
  10. Zero I think you are right with the fuel re-circulating in the tanks on the AS 350. I was taught filter drains (both) pump(s) off. I can't remember if the D models are the same though procedure though. I would have to look into that. Well spose it doesn't matter as they are getting phased out for BA & B2's. Cheers
  11. 9 Bodies recovered out of the wreckage. Info on the crew is inaccurate, Tom Lanouette was the first officer, the name of the was released on the link below. My condolences to all the families and friends involved you will never be forgotten!!! http://thechronicleherald.ca/Front/1111657.html
