  1. I just received this email from Eric Bradley. It has come to my attention that the CrossOver software from CodeWeavers will install the Windows application FLTDUTY XLS and its variants on a Mac computer without needing Windows. Up until this time, I have been telling all those who asked that FLTDUTY was not compatible with any Apple product. Apparently, this is not the case! You need to purchase the install utility (from me), then purchase the CrossOver utility from CodeWeavers. You don't need Windows or a separate partition. You can go to their website or contact Andrew Balfour
  2. Would threading the needle also be considered class C ? I watched 2 - AS355's pull over 400km of sock and thread the center phase with a needle on the Northern Transmission Line. All class C. There is a side pull for the AS350 that is working it's way through the Transport approval process at this time. It has been in use in New Zealand for awhile.

  6. Freewheel There might be more appropriate ways of bringing these issues to Transport Canada's attention than posting pictures of other operators aircraft on a helicopter forum. I don't disagree that everyone should play on a level playing field but have some couth.

  8. As i'm sure that most people in the Canadian helicopter industry have heard, a pilot had a severe emotional breakdown in a camp in Northern BC. The pilot worked for Lakelse Air and is a good friend of mine. He is a high time pilot and very talented on a longline.
