Because you like to apply for flying jobs just after the new year. And again I will say as I have for years to young pilots looking for a job .If you stop looking you will never find a job.So don't stop there will be new jobs opening this year, take a road trip, visit the local Sportsmens show make a few phone calls but don't stop.

Good luck

I still ask mysellf that very same question almost every day. You'll always be making sacrifices to get in/stay in this business. The question I always revert to is: would I be happy doing anything else? (career in porn aside) No probably not! Chin up and get that nose back to the grind stone! cj

Finding a job in aviation is like getting laid.

If you tell every woman you meet you would just love to have sex with her you will get many no answers, some slaps on the face and some kicks in the n.ts.... but you will also get laid sooner or later...

Working in aviation can also be likened to wearing a condom. It gives you a feeling of warmth, faith and security...while being screwed.
