Sounds like everyone is alive, which is good. From the looks of it, it's Great Lakes Helicopters' C-GQGL. Best wishes to those injured, and I hope everyone makes a full recovery.

I'm amazed they survived, with the extent of damage to the Robbie...

 

When something like this happens it kind of puts a whole new perspective on the risks we ake every day on the job.

I am saddened to see this, and hope all is well with Chris and Nick and all the others (Have not a first clue on who was flying, but these are the two I know),

 

I also hope that the injured will make a quick recovery!

I think it is a little early to be making claims like that.

 

I also think that describing any training situation as being "basically a controlled crash" to the general public is misleading and wrong. :down:

Here is a classic case of a comment based on speculation, i.e. "they were probably doing",

followed by complete misinformation (from a fixed-wing instructor).......i.e. "basically a controlled crash".

 

Hey Phyl......I think your reputation just had an uncontrolled crash following a brain failure.

(Though that is only speculation!!)

 

Next time the media calls, maybe you should decline comment so that you don't look like such an idiot.
