ISE DA BY
With all this talk about exhausting work schedules and shuffling companies in search of a better schedule/homelife, what does exist out there in the VFR world for rotations? I work a 28 on, 14 off, which ends up being 30 and 12 since you travel on your days off. Is this the norm or are there better rotations out there?? Although, I realize there are so many different facets to this industry that it's probably hard to gauge. Not complaining about my schedule, just curious to what others are working. Cheers, Ise da by
JLMG
28-14 but I travel during the working days, so I guess a real 28-

Dzude
standard rotation: 4-on, 2-off weeks can go up to: 6-on, 2-off weeks But with the shortage of experience personel, ask management for your preference and they'll give it to you, in order to keep you. This summer we got all kind of schedules, some guys are doing 4-4 weeks, another 2-on 4-off weeks. Cheers.

Jet B
2 weeks on 2 weeks off. I also have little ones and I like to be around to watch them grow up. You only get to raise your kids once.
Ryan
4 days on, 4 days off, 30 minute drive to the hangar. Not too shabby for the summer!

Cheers, Ise da by Havn't heard of alot of rotations of 28 and 14. Most companys will run a 21 and 14, or 21 and 10. I think VIH runs a 21 and 14 in the summer and a 14 and 14 in the winter. And of coarse there is the 14 and 14 year around.
