Air Time Vs. Flight Time

Recommended Posts

I thought flight time was when aircraft moves under its own power. And air time is when it actually leaves the ground?? If you don't have wheels how are you getting all this flight time accumulated???

Its kinda like when people do this on fires and wonder why they are the first clowns sent home. I love it. keep it up please. I need the work. Do you think customers don't see this going on??

I was on a fire where the Air Boss said specifically to bill running time, without me asking. If the passenger was out talking to a cat operator, and said keep it running, it was all billed. They were good enough to keep me on after all other machines had gone, 6 weeks.

Do you think the truck driver who delivers your drums, or bulk fuel, bills you only when the truck is moving?

Incidently Transport does occasionally inspects flight tickets, A/C journey logs, and flight time duty day records.

..and personal logs books??? Didn't think so. But do something to give a lawyer a chance/reason to, and look out!

So lets see. If I add up all the extra "flight time" and add it to what I have now, I'll have...,

(let's see. Add 12 - 45 / 26 + 2345.56, - the number of days I actually worked + the days I didn't, and I'll have ... ???)

Well, that's way to difficult. And besides, nobody has ever asked anyway.
