Super D
This year I have to get my Category 1 Aviation Medical Examination done in Vancouver, BC. On Transport's website I found a list of qualified doctors in the area: Chan, K.H. Harmon, T.P. Hartzell, W.G. Joffe, John Basil Karon, S. Law, C.C.S. Moore, M.S. Otto, A.G. Sehmer, J.M. So I'm curious if there is any one of these doctors that you guys recommend seeing, based on your past experiences. All input is appreciated. Thanks. Check out www.ultima.com They are based on the south side of Vancouver Intl Airport. Been in business for years. Dr. Rempel usually handles the Class 1 medicals there. Good Doc. After, you can walk across the street and have a pint at the Flying Beaver and watch the float boys do their thing. Cheers, BSH

Helijason
I'm bumping this back up cause i am curious if there anyone can still reccomend a good doctor near YVR. I dont mind ball grabbibg but am not a fan of bum probing. Any suggestions would be helpful. Also cheaper is better.

Anyone got that Richard Simmons poster handy?? Seriously though. Depending on your age you really SHOULD have regular prostate exams. If you think it is an invasion of privacy now wait until you get prostate cancer. It will cause one to redefine the term private parts. chopperman
I agree with being checked for prostate cancer and if your doctor wants to check you then ask for the blood test as it is proven to be more effective in detecting prostate cancer than your doc's physical exam. It's your body you can request what you want in an exam.
