Hmm, I have an FAA instrument/instrument instructor rating already so I would personally be looking at a Canadian conversion. Haven't had the time to even think about this one, though! Has anyone else out there converted their FAA instrument rating to a Canadian one?

Oh and it would be nice to do this in a R22-GT Glass Trainer wouldn't? Specialized Helicopters is the only one I know of using these for IFR currency however.

Have a friend who was in the same category as you. All he had to do was write the Canadian exam and do a ride as he met all other categories.

Cool, thanks. And wow, I totally forgot to ask about the Robinson thing while I was down in Phoenix. Passed the IPC though! I was pleasantly surprised to discover I actually remembered my IFR procedures, though there was a moment on my night flight with an inop turn coordinator over the black desert when I found myself profoundly disoriented. A good reminder of how things can turn ugly, fast! And why R22s should NEVER be used in actual IMC...
