My thoughts to the survivor. I hope he'll be strong enough to go through this tragedy, the surgeries, the fact is the only survivor and the loss of his friends and colleagues.

Best wishes for a quick recovery.

Any news on recovery efforts? I can't seem to find anything online. Also, does anybody know what kind of procedure is normal for offshore ops when faced with a MGB issue? I was always taught to hug the ground or tree tops or whatever when you have a pressure or chip light or some other suspicion of a problem but I have never been out of sight of land. And does anybody have any idea how the pop out floats work in a 92? I am curious why they didn't blow.

Thanks,

Hill

Hello Hill:

Knowing this site, your post could turn into a speculation and second guessing match very quickly. Why don't we just leave this thread as a grieving process for now.

The preliminary report will be released soon and until then we should just let sleeping dogs lie.

Sorry if I have offended you but that's just the way I feel.

Best Regards

Splitpin
