Narrative: The Oceanview Helicopters Hughes MD600N, origin/destination unknown, experienced impact and roll over upon landing near Toba Inlet, BC (50.37.10N 123.57.94W). It was reported that white out conditions may have existed at the time. The 3 souls on board escaped injury.

A VERY unsubstantiated rumour from the "tea lady in the canteen" that the machine sent to sling out the wreck, itself had a small problem this morning. According to the RUMOUR the pad built for the rescue machine collapsed and the machine rolled down the mountain totalling it. The good rumour is that nobody was hurt.

Anyone in the know out there??

 

Again, just a rumour, if wrong, set me straight.
