Over-Talk
Listening to the online scanner, they just got a huge number of new starts in the Okanagan. Some near houses. Civilians fighting some starts. Some rain, but very windy too. Winds are whipping-up Terrace Mtn fire. Bad thunder-cells affecting helis getting to fires. (Wow, I'm glad the "industry" didn't take Putz's advice of banning spec ships from the area!)

lineworker
I suppose some of the money for our illustrious premier's triumphant and inspiring charter visit to the okanagan could have gone to hiring resources scattered across the airport waiting to help. Come on. Did you expect the Premier not to survey the biggest situation going on in the province?

Over-Talk
Lineworker, I suspect the Premier's visit to Kelowna involved the use of private sector aircraft on contract to the Province. What's your point??
