Mark_
I assume that the crane had feathered wings and not rotors. Mark

Helilog56
i had heard this as well.... anyone hear what happened?? everyone ok? couldnt operate on one engine? Ummmm.......no, it was a exceedance of oil temperature, along with a pressure loss in the m/r transmission. Not something to be toyed with.....the crew treated it with the urgency required and set her down in the first landing site available. It is being investigated why the tranny spit out all its oil. The crew did an outstanding job, did not put a scratch on her.....and the support from everyone else on the fire was nothing short of amazing.
