Cheers To Pitt Lake Crew

Just a quick thanks to the guys working in the Pitt Lake area today. We had a medivac flight in the area and had a guy (Bell medium driver?) offer his assistance as he had a medic on board. As we had 2 with us it wasn't needed, but very cool to hear a guy busy working another job offer his help! Kinda made my day, never had anyone in the air offer to help us before. :)

Wanted to throw our thanks out in case he is a visitor to the forum.

You are welcome. You folks on the Air Ambulance do a great job. I used to do the flight attendant thing many moons ago.

If you are the same crew that was on duty on Friday morning , we met at the fatal MVA at 28 and 200 street in Langley. The S76 got into a small field beside the pump house and after extracting the patient who was not petite, we only had to drive about 50 feet to your landing site.

I was thinking light for you as you verticalled out of the hole with our patient and your crew.

I hope you get the C+'s soon.

I wish (except for the fuel burn rate) that it was a Bell Medium, but alas it was only us in our private R-44 going glacier climbing farther up the valley.

I was the Medium driver, it wasn't me offering help - my bucket wouldn't have done much! (though I'd have helped if I could)But I wanted to thank both you guys for your airmanship. It's been a really busy airspace with lots of surprise cessnas in the area, and your professionalism made getting fuel for the next cycle a lot easier. Thanks!
