For any of you on the east side of the country and would like to attend Bob's funeral here is the info from the local paper.

WOODHEAD, Robert Christopher

September 22, 2009

Location: Hamilton

WOODHEAD, Robert Christopher It is with deep sorrow that my wife and I, Kay and Cliff, ably assisted by his brother Phil, his wife Kim and his children, are arranging a memorial service to honour the memory of our dear son, brother and their father, Robert, who died in a helicopter crash fighting forest fires in British Columbia. Bob has been flying helicopters for over twenty years. Although it was a hazardous occupation, he loved the work he did. He was well liked by his flying buddies and by his many personal friends whom we are inviting to join us in our sorrow and memories of the wonderful person he was. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Stoney Creek United Church (corner of King Street West and Lake Avenue South, Stoney Creek) on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
