Are You A Nervous Pilot?

The biggest thing to me was not knowing what the sequence of effents was prior to the event.

1958, flying along and the H-21 goes down on it's tail (vertical) goes to it's right and starts decending and proceeds to hit a knoll and comes to rest in pieces. This all happened about 1000 AGL. The A/C split and the rear section burned.

1971, taking off from a survey point in H500, lost rotor rpm at 150 ft and decended into tree's.

1987, taking off from heli-port in B206L1 and received low rotor rpm and proceeded to land underwater in the lake.

My biggest fear at all times was not knowing what could have caused the mis-hap.

PS: There are more incredibale stories that I will tell you, if you stay tunned.

Cheers, Don
