I thought more people would come out of the woodwork for this topic. Many of our past workmates are now leaders in the industry. Some are gone forever but certainly not forgotten.

I can assume this was going on while you were in camp :P

I remember being in Tuk when Quasar was building Tarsuit Island for us (Dome/Canmar) but can't recall any names

The a/c is C-GQHI landing on the Canmar ramp in Tuk. I have these in hi-res as well

Gary

That was QHI the 212 but it was VXA and VXC the 214's which built the island. Nice shots.

Busted,

I looked at the engine exhaust, knew we were talking about 214s and didn't look to see what reg the 214s were or compared the 212 side profile.

What the **** I'm more familiar with the S76a and S61.

Thanks for the compliments

I have been scanning in all my negatives (45k so far) with a monster scanner and they start out at 63meg X 4000 dpi. Despite so-so camera equipment (Canon AE1), film and colour processing at the time photoshop and the scanner software is really making some of my pictures look better than I thought they would turn out.
