I did 25 hrs for a World Cup race at Lk Louise about 10 years ago. Works fine, easy flying, but hard on nets and high cycles. Surprisingly, the snow does stay in nets, but do use fine-weave ones. That "Coastal Concrete Powder" will have no problem staying in a net.

And further more figure skating is not a sport.

Disagree ,figure skating is more of a sport than synchro swimming , rhythmic gymnastics and small bore shooting all of which are included in the summer games. But to add some excitement they should allow body checking

Why is it every time I hear news about the Olympics I become more and more ashamed of my government?

 

VANOC deserves to be flogged. may taxpayer dollars wasted in the cause of entertainment.

they should have never bid on the Olympics in the first place. but watching a bunch of athletes play in the snow is far more important then health care, education, unemployment, homelessness....
