I would guess that everyone is working now that the fire season is finally off and running, but if anyone is interested in working in Spain until September 30th, please PM me.

The basic details:

A Spanish company has quite a few fire contracts all over the country. I am working for a company that has wet-leased several 212's to the Spanish. Now the Spanish company has requested a few pilots to fly their aircraft as well. The maintenance standards seem pretty high and the whole situation is similar to working in Canada.

Anyway, I have been asked if I can find a couple of guys that are willing to travel forthwith and work until the end of September. These fellows (if any can be found) would be working for a certain Middle-eastern company with scads of Bell mediums, and would be "lent" to the Spanish.

So, if there're any takers, drop me a line.

When I first heard "PJ or Fontas" I suffered an involuntary full-body shudder. However, on reflection, the only differences are:

The slabs of grilled meat...the heaping plates of shellfish...the topless beaches...the $1.00 pints of beer...the $2.00 bottles of wine...the (on average) healthiest Chicas in the world (that I've seen)...etc.

Oh! And no bugs of any kind...I just did that shudder again...

Hi HV

I'm working for the Spanish company in Madrid and got the chance to talk to some of you the other day in one of the bases in Galicia. I'm glad you like around hear and hope you enjoy your trip.

Wonder if we could talk about a few things, I think the more info we have the better for the pilots comunity.

I'm based in Madrid working for the fire dept. If you let me know what base you are at, I could give you a call.

Ragards and buen vuelo.
