I have worked in Florida and a co-worker hit a pelican (just as big) in the same area in a 22 also, he was cut and covered in guts and feathers. He said the worst part was the blood in his eyes, and knowing he was fine but not knowing if he would be able to get it on the ground. He did! :punk:
