If you have a AW Cert. that is listed as restricted and catagory as -ag and pest control / forest -- what does it take to change back over to a classfication standard or normal AW cert.? thank you

You would have to find out exactly how your 206 deviates from its Type Certificate and return it to conformity. Take off all the spray gear and provisions that put it into the restricted category.

I forgot to mention that a TC or FAA inspector (not sure where you operate) will have to look at the machine and your maint. records to issue a new C of A as well.

Is the Restricted Category C of A the only Aiworthiness Certificate on the machine, or does it have a Standard C of A and a pink supplemental C of A for Restricted Category operations conducted under Part 137?

 

If it is a Restricted Category machine and ineligible for certification in Standard Category, then you are out of luck.

 

If it is a Standard Category machine with a supplemental Restricted C of A, then all it takes to revert from Standard to Restricted is a long book entry defining which category it is operating under by an FAA certificated mechanic, and the application/removal of the appropriatrie "Restricted Category" external placards per FAR 137.

I assumed based on the other two threads posted on the same day....you are right I could be in error. Thanks for pointing that out.
