chopper_guy
Best wishes to the pilot for a speedy recovery! Dick Good that the pilot was not seriously hurt and everyone else was ok. Not the first blade strike in heliskiing and won't be the last. I believe there are at least 1 or 2 every year.

Black Mike
Pilot released from hospital this morning, seems o.k. but shook up. No major injuries. (I flew him out to hospital last night) Spoke to passengers today and all fine small cuts and bruises. (target shooting behind of hangar instead of heliskiing today) Machine not so good- salvage starts tomorrow with Kamov. B.M.

jeff931
What really happened? were they going into an unprepared landing sight? low-visibility conditions? blade strike with what-ground or tailboom? main rotor or tail rotor contact? pilot error? glad to hear no one was killed Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the pilot and all my friends at Skyline.
