Thanks for the tips and encouragement guys! Did circuits for an hour yeasterday and my aproaches into the hover are getting better. Still ugly, but better. Then myself and another student stayed behind to wash and wax the R22. I was gonna throw a car air-freshener inside as a joke but figured it might be a bad idea. Might not be able to snif out burning oil or a fuel leak. Besides, a helicopter should smell like a helicopter...av gas, leather and sweat. :D
