I guess it beats the term 'PRANCING' with their luggage...

I can see the court battle now:

"Your Honour my clients did not " walk or stroll' as they are wrongly accused of.

Perhaps they "advanced, ambled, ambulated, cantered, hiked, hit the road, hoofed it, knocked about, locomoted, lumbered, marched, meandered, paraded, perambulated, plodded, promenaded, raced, sauntered, shambled, shuffled, slogged, strolled, strutted, stumped, toddled, traipsed, tramped, traveled on foot, traversed, tread, trekked, trooped, trudged or wandered."

"The case should be dismissed as they were also perhaps just 'dashing off to Beer Call' a time honoured aviation activity not to be interfered with by anyone." :D

Does this mean we have to carry VHF radios for "walking" clearance?!?!?

"Castlegar Radio, this is the two dude's who landed in the 204, can you clear us to the entrance gate over there for a quick exit? "

" Ah, ah negative, there 204 dude's there may be an airplane or something needing to taxi, stand by for a securtiy escort...."

It's hard enough to remember whether I'm supposed to be hover-taxiing or air taxiing....

now I have to be careful not to stroll when I'm only cleared to walk.

(the people that seem to be the most bored are the ones that write-up these CADORS incidents.

Yes, I realize that technically a CAR has been violated....but to write-up a report on this stuff????

And, at the bustling metropolis of Castlegar!!!!!

Come on, lighten up, dude. I think you've got your badge on a bit too tight !! Yeeesh.)

hahaha I read that too just the other day (also while bored) and it gave me a good chuckle.

Reminds me of when I was a ground crew and my pilot and I were getting flown home from Ft. Mac in the company fixed wing. The fixed wing pilot needed to warm up the plane so my pilot decided we should "stroll" down to the terminal building for some coffee. We were already airside so we walked down an empty taxiway... only to have an airport security truck come ripping up to rip us a new... well, you get the idea. Luckily, my pilot charmed his way out of it, and scored us a ride instead :D
