Nop! Degree required- you are an officer (yes man first) pilot second.

 

And it doesn't matter if you can fly circles aound the milirtary guys accompanies by 10,000 hrs rotary.

 

Athough age is not dicriminated against, it is ! They will say that they have to spend 5 million training you and will soooner recruit a 20 year old who they are going to get some years out of,

 

Years ago yoiu could go HELICOP or OCTP without a degree but th program is largey not ue anymore.But I blieve is still open in a reserve capacity.This means you need the CO of the squadron to ge you in.

 

University is only 3 yeas for an undergrad, No biggie!

They actually have ceotp program right now where you promise to acquire a degree through out your career in the military, but it may only be offered to candidates who all ready have rotory experienced and serving nco's

the ceotp program is always taking applicants, but they only accept applicants once or twice a year, and each recruiting center only gets a limited number of positions to fill, and in the program once you have completed you training you have 7-9 years(one or the other) to complete you University degree(on your own time ie. night school)
