Canadian Work For Pilots

I got my CPLH in 1999 and they were talking about huge growth for 100hr wonders back then and still no change. As a matter of fact I heard recently that something like 85% of licence holders in Canada never fly again after graduation.

Now having said that if helicopters are your love then stick with it, its worth it. Just a thought, get a FAA licence also and then you can start droping resumes around the world. I know that can be a touchy subject on this forum but it works. There are places right here in Alberta that can issue both Canadian and American commercial licences for well under $50k Canadian. If I were starting from scratch again I would hope someone would give me this advice. But of course any where in the world its always true " A hard worker in the right place at the right time gets the job!"
