jas600
Does anyone here work for Hydro One? Or has anyone worked there in the past?
Winnie
Biggest problem with Hydro one (and it is not a problem, just a hurdle!) is that you need a MINIMUM of 3000 hours (or is it 3500) and long line experience to be even considered. VERY strong company to work for, and you'll be limited to working in Ontario. Cheers H.

green arc
I got my CPLH in 1999 and they were talking about huge growth for 100hr wonders back then and still no change. As a matter of fact I heard recently that something like 85% of licence holders in Canada never fly again after graduation. Now having said that if helicopters are your love then stick with it, its worth it. Just a thought, get a FAA licence also and then you can start droping resumes around the world. I know that can be a touchy subject on this forum but it works. There are places right here in Alberta that can issue both Canadian and American commercial licences for well under $50k Canadian. If I were starting from scratch again I would hope someone would give me this advice. But of course any where in the world its always true " A hard worker in the right place at the right time gets the job!"
