kokonutz
Hey everyone. Since this is my first post here, I really hope I'm posting this in the right place... and that this is even the kind of stuff you guys do post. But, this past Sunday I went out to shoot a video with a friend of mine showing an angle on a helicopter that I don't think anyone's ever really tried before. I did a quick edit on it, and thought I'd see what everyone thinks. I'm planning to do more locations, especially once the snow starts to fly. The next time I edit it, I'll add in some flying shots as well. The Shot list includes: Willowbay (Farm that I keep the helicopter at) Rocky sandbar on Widgeon Creek (Zone 10U 490952mE 5457814mN) Western town Movie set (Zone 10U 527884mE 5457534mN) Pitt River Hotsprings (Zone 10U 520983mE 5504879mN) Ledge above Widgeon Lake (Zone 10U 521588mE 5477009mN) Sandbar at Pitt Lake/Pitt River (Zone 10U 528652mE 5487405mN) Boundary Bay Airport (Fuel Stop) Widgeon Lake (Zone 10U 522731mE 5477659mN) WWII Bomber Crash Site (Zone 10U 523621mE 5480311mN) Peak above Widgeon (name?) (Zone 10U 521878mE 5476061mN)
MMike
That's pretty cool. I do short videos for stuff at work (in the absence of someone competent). So I can appreciate shooting stuff from cool angles. I give it two thumbs up.......

DrDukeSolomon
I like the rocks stuffed under the skids at 1:30.
Ryan
Awesome perspective! Next time attach it to the tail rotor and give it a turn
Bif
That's awesome kokonutz! It almost looks like stop motion. I think you should send that into Robinson, it's worthy of a promotional vid, or something to be playing at their setup at conferences I'd like details on your cam too, if you could. I've wanted a decent, fun HD video cam for ages!
deltacharlie
You didn't almost roll it over landing at the B-25 site did you? That's a hairy spot to land, especially if the spot you picked requires rocks jammed under your skids. Any lowtimers out there, that's what not to do. ThreePer
Very cool. Could be a Robinson commercial or something. FYI: Bottom of the clip it says it was filmed on a GoPro. http://www.goprocamera.com/products/hd-hero-naked-camera.php
