Guest jacdor
On a B205 with the 212 rotor sys STC's you get an increase in internal gross weight from 9500 to 10200 lbs. What I have a problem with understanding is how can a B212 head and blades gives you this increase while you are already at 10500 external That's an airframe increase, is there anything else added to the aircraft/airframe in this STC like cross tubes saddles or beefed up crosstubes or reinforced floor beams? or anything that would justify this 700 lbs increase. Heliian
The installation instructions for the STC will contain all the info you're looking for. Your company should have a copy on file. If you've lost the instructions, then I would suggest calling helitrade for a copy, or just call em up and ask them how it's done. I'm not a medium guy, but i would assume that they make improvements to the transmission mounting and panels, and landing gear.
