cyclic monkey
Skippy, the Bush Kangaroo, (1966-68) uses his brains to alert his best friend, the human Sonny (Garry Pankhurst), whenever anyone hits trouble in the outback area of Warratah National Park. Set in the Australian bushland of Waratah National Park. Skippy, the Bush Kangaroo, assists ranger Matt Hammond (Ed Devereaux), and flight ranger Jerry King (Tony Bonner). One of the most well-known tunes in Australia is the theme song to Skippy. The opening credits to Skippy would have Sonny pull a leaf from a bush, and use it to whistle for Skippy. In reply, Skippy would make a click-click-click sound. Here's the theme for you guys that want a flashback to the '60s. http://www.angelfire.com/film/jonnyspage2/...%20Kangaroo.htm
cyclic monkey
In my extensive photo files I found a photo of Ernie Borgnine working on Airwolf, and MacGyver looking as good as ever. The young boy from Skippy,Garry Pankhurst, was harder to locate. It is believed this diagram should be an accurate presentation of the man today. cyclic monkey
With help from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation I was able to track-down the real Skippy. She is now fully grown and too tame to return to the wilderness. Here she is, with her present keeper, being just as useful as she always was. We love you, Skippy !! cyclic monkey
You stumped me on that one, but let's not forget these young stars............ I'm sure they inspired the kids that grew up to be the fine group of intelligent, caring professionals that run our forest fire fighting services across our great nation.
