Sudden Stop.

Please reread my post. I did not say #### happens, I said

The pilot flying had a momentary lapse in judgement and situational awareness at the same time. The second pilot did not correct that. It happens.

It happens. And it does happen, sometimes even with two pilots, one makes a mistake and the other pilot does not correct it. IT HAPPENS.

#### happens is a totally different thing and a dismissive remark. I did not say that or mean that and I do not appreciate your inference that I did.

Why are you here anyway. This is for helicoppter pilots.

You don't see us coming down to the 711 to bother you at work and wait for you to make a mistake.

how will the C+ make any difference in this event? i wish i was smoking what you are smoking.

Looks like the pedal turn was in the direction of the opening, who knows maybe the pilot was going to use the space to transition into forward flight due to power limitations surrounding obstacles.??? The 76A with all the gear loaded+ good helping of fuel is pretty gutless. Over 5000ft even more so. I guess if the pilots were used to having all kinds of extra jam all the time vertical flight out to clear obstacls would have been easy and even habit. I can only say that the way I get out of hole with a AS350B3 or a 206 Jetranger is a whole lot different. In a 206 I use all the room I can find. In a AS350B3 Its not a concern. Maybe not a completely accurate comparison between A SK76A and C++ I guess but it does look like the crew was going that way for a reason. Just a theory!

Quoted from LangelyR44 "Why are you here anyway. This is for helicoppter pilots."

Word has it on the street only helicoppter pilots can post here. So all you engineerz and other wannabees...it's time to move on and find your own place. You're not welcome.
