Guest Jeremy Law
We have enabled the up-vote and down-vote options for the Canadian forums. You can now rate each post by clicking the plus or minus icon at the bottom right of the post. You must be logged in to vote, and you will only be able to vote so many times per day, so use them wisely. If you find a post offensive or inappropriate you can still report it to a moderator. Three_Per
I think this is a great Idea. Maybe a mention to the fact that the Up/Down vote buttons should not be used for when you simply don't like or disagree with what someone has to say. Use them to indicate if someone adds value to a conversation (up-vote) and visa vera for the down-vote
SuddenStop
I think this is a great Idea. Maybe a mention to the fact that the Up/Down vote buttons should not be used for when you simply don't like or disagree with what someone has to say. Use them to indicate if someone adds value to a conversation (up-vote) and visa vera for the down-vote At first I didn't think you needed to comment on how people should like/dislike posts, as I thought people were smart enough to use the function for its intended use properly I was wrong. I'm not whining because I've gathering lots of negatives, as I said before I only comment when I need to say something. Go ahead and pile the negatives on me, I really don't care. What I'm trying to help is the guys getting negatives when they clearly don't deserve it. There seems to be a slew all at once, so I think what you get is one two or three guys who just come in and slap the ol' negative on the stuff they disagree with, regardless of the value it added, or didn't add. It clearly becomes a favoritism type of function at this point. I vote to remove it since it's not being used (abused) in its intended form.

I disagree, I think it lets someone know if there comments add value to the thread or not. I vote to keep it.

Hardly...let me see....I think I'll post something and wait till someone else tells me if it was good or not.... I think most, like myself, speak their opinions freely and do not wait around for the peanut gallery to massage their ego. I see the three amigo's managed to hit me with three more poor reputation points...oh my lord...I'm being censored indirectly...what shall i do??? what shall i do??

sirlandsalot
Question, is there any way to take a vote back? I have hit the wrong one a couple times and that sucks!
sirlandsalot
so....let me get this straight, I ask the board how to fix a mistake, and instead of an answer, I get 3 negative votes? Thanks for the help.
