HeliCanada
Into my second season with the Gallet. WOW! I have two shields...green and amber. Both deploy and retract beautifly and I don't know they are there! The optics are near perfect! The fit is snug but not tight..boom mike stays put and has great audio. I have a volume control. I can fit in most bubble windows. Chin strap easy to do up. It has ANR using 9 volt battery ( buy on sale, averge price $2.75 ) last about 12 to 18 hrs. I also use CEP soon to be CME. The noise reduction is wonderful!!!!! I also use an inline Bluetooth cell phone and iPod interface so I can make calls from the machine All and all one of the best products I have purchased.

Skidmark
Power boats don't go very fast onshore. Sorry, couldn't resist. I do agree those MSA/Gallets are a great bucket. Almost 5 years with one now. From winter arctic to jungle, its never let me down.
rainman
I'm on year 11 with mine and so far so good, no real problems. I've gone through 3 chin straps and one set of earcups...that's it! I put in a zeta liner and hush kit 6 years ago and my only complaint is it's like putting on a stone in the winter months. Might have to repaint it in another 11 years?? If you go for the repaint...do not go with Tiger Performance Products...might be a good place to buy an new one ( I prefer Merit Apparell out of Flordia), but Tiger did a BRUTAL job of my helmet repaint... SuddenStop
when i read the first post, i thought it was a spam type post. seemed like someone was trying to sell something instead of just give a good review. But i let it be. then the second one comes in and the light buld flashes in my head. Tiger performance....hmmm....aren't they the ones who flood my email with spam continually? yep. And the kicker is how did they get my email? I only use that account for here and nowhere else. I checked the OP's past posts, there was only 5 afterall, and not one showed up... I would never buy from anyone who spams my email box.

But since I will never have a need for such a product, I didn't say anything.

Pretty pathetic when a company is too cheap to spend money on advertising and has to resort to such methods.

I am a helicopter pilot, I am not in any way conected with Tiger Performance or Gallet Helmets. My intention was to pass on my experience to others so they may benefit. It is very clear that this is not a Helcopter Pilot Forum. I don't know what it is .....buy it sure is sad!!!!
Daz
Hi HELICANADA, From what I've seen those LH 250 are very nice - I will invest as soon as I land my next job (right now my funds are dedicated to paying the bills and finding work ). As for colour, I'm torn between hot rod red and find-me bright orange. Red looks cool, but the orange seems a wiser choice. I see you've been around the forums for a while - tell us a bit about yourself! Where and what are you flying these days? Cheers, Darren
