Amphibious
contact overseas just told me Agusta was grounding all 139 with over 600hrs flight time or 1500 landings due to issue with the tail rotor? anyone heard anything more on this? couldn't find a press release, but lots of chatter on other forums about it. Gary Watson
Doesn't look like a grounding just additional inspections and a new life limit on the blades due to cracks
Amphibious
news I'm getting is there is a rather large amount of 139's over the 600/1500 limit and no replacement TR blades to be had? could be interesting. rumor is 45 days to get replacement blade to all the affected ships. Sexual Chocolate
Aeromed ships should all be EC145T2's! lol. Just my opinion based solely on looks!
MMike
Any of you guys actually flying or wrenching on 139's? Are the lead times on the new blades as bad as they say? I'm guessing there's some good OT to be had these days there.
