Saifan Pilot
Hello all, I've created Bell 206 B2/B3/L1(C28)/L1(C30) power check calculators. To use is very easy, load the file in Microsoft Excel, Enter OAT, TOT, pA. The spreadsheet will automatically plot and calculate the minimum torque for those parameters. Files are attached in the zip archive. Original power check charts were scanned and then digitized using Plot Digitizer Any comments, corrections or suggestions are welcome. Hope you find it useful. Saifan Pilot
Funny you mentioned that, I was just thinking of developing this into an app. Problem is that I need to invest $99 into an Apple dev license and I'm not sure I'd make back the investment, what are your thoughts? Are there enough helicopter pilots/engineers out there with an iPhone that would be interested in this?

Xcode is the program used to make Apps so you can create it before spending your money. Just need to learn a bit of code. I'd buy it. I would hope that you would be able to sell at least a hundred copies at $0.99-$1.99 to make it worth your while.
Taco Bell
Crazy not to. For a $100 dollar gamble, you could make thousands.
Saifan Pilot
OK, I'll start looking into this. In my previous career I was an algorithm engineer and I have plenty of C experience so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch for me. I'll start working on this tomorrow. Batiskaf
Go for it! It is not often we can find good apps designed by people who know what they talk about! I would buy it too!
