Hello all,

Where I am living right now, in Onterrible, has many Oil and Gas plants... Looks a lot like Kuwait.

A friend of mine is a an instructor at a Co-op center that the major plants have set up for training. I can get a great deal, if not free!

 

Any suggestions as to what certs I could get to aid me in gaining employment once I am finished training?

Simple, useful ones would be H2S Alive (Sour Gas), WHIMS, Dangerous Goods, First Aid Level 1. Those are required if you fly in the patch and will be helpful to have on your resume.

 

The gas well "operator" courses are another thing - and I don't know much about them - pilot-operator jobs.
