Mr. Man
We can only cross our fingers and hope for a better year than last!!!!! I don't want to be waking up in the morning with hopes of high temps and low humidity, come to find rain and cold days to follow for weeks on end:down: let us pray! 407 Driver
Not sure what will happen for a Fire season, but this Ski season is rapidly becoming a WASHOUT. Lots of cancellations and skiers sent home, the only company making money this week is Brewster Bus lines.
jetbox
Why is that 407? I thought the mountains were getting lots of snow this year
Rosco
We have a helll of alot of snow this year and it's gonna be a wet spring here in N. Ont. Who knows what the summer will bring but if it's anything like last summer, it'll be pretty quiet. MNR reported a record low fire count, lowest in the last 50 year IIRC, for last summer. Mr. Man
Very true indeed Rosco, nothing burning...nothing turning, didn't even get close enough to see the inside of Geraldtons new facility...flew over it once! looks nice!! Rosco
You must have been very sad due to not having to spend any time in beautiful downtown Geraldton. A real shame to miss out on "treaty check" nite at the Nugget! You in this neck of the woods?
Guest bag swinnger
Well shaggy I just drove through the rockies and over the coquihala and there was no snow at all on the coq I have seen twenty five feet there this time of year in the past. the last time I saw so little it was a record fire year in BC. I have flown through the west to the east recently and all the snow is in ontario and quebec. Stopped off for a couple of nights at the luxurois gold nugget in geraldton, cant say I am looking forward to going back any time soon. it seemed to be a dualing banjo kind of place!
