I always laugh at the way we get paid,

Me too! They pay me this much money to have this much fun? Thank god I'm not driving a bus out to some oil rig or something like that! At least with VFR you get the visual part (I,m sure the helicopter filming the animals in Africa isn't IFR).

Bring on more IFR so that the rest of us can have more fun!

By the way ... I did truly make an offer to trade my restaurant but they didn't go for it!

Is deuce out to lunch? If by serious he meant the stability of known pay and rotation then he is right on. Off shore black gold seems to pay a better wage and offer a more predictable home life than

It's no rumor. I'm just curious, how many people will go to mustang from vih. What's got me worried is mustang giving away a B2 for 900 something a hour. I don't imagine the pilots are getting top d

Looking back on my post I see I was not clear.

What I meant was if you want to remain an employee of the VIHAviation Group and you are a professional pilot then you need to think about getting an instrument ticket. I know many guys who have been there for a long time. A few for their entire working career. They are VIH to the bone and the idea of working for someone else will be hard.

I,m not sure that VIH Helicopters is totally out of the VFR game right now but I think they will be soon.

No disrespect intended for my VFR brothers and sisters.
