Boatpix.com ...for some it's the right fit and for others it's not, but for being cheap, this is the right place !

Call Tom Mc Dermott 239 205 4843 or at the number on the web site.

Best of luck !

Hello PiloteFr,

As this is a Canadian helicopter forum, you may not find a lot of information on American helicopter schools. I don't know much about American schools myself, but a good baseline (to give you a vague idea of what to expect in terms of cost and course curriculum) might be Hillsboro Aviation in Portland, OR. They're a very large school, and according to an acquaintance of mine who recently trained there, they do hire some of their students afterwards. Might be worth a phone call.

Although training in the USA is cheaper, don't rule out Canadian schools if you can afford it - helicopter flight instructors in Canada tend to be high-time, experienced pilots, while in the USA the instructors are often fresh out of flight school on their first job. Both places will get you flying, but I'd wager your quality of training would be much higher in Canada. But I may be biased, as I'm a Canadian who trained in Canada :D

Good Luck!

Darren

Try 49 North Helicopters in Campbell River BC, talk to Jean-Marc Mesmer, he is fluent in French but from Switzerland. R22 for basic and AS350 for Turbine endorsements....

Bonne Chance!
