Bo105 Replacement

I see the RFP is out on Merx for the new light twins for Canadian Coast Guard ( has it really been 20 years since the last contract ). Any bets on who the front runners are ?.

It's been more than 20 yrs widgeon. The BO105 purchase was in 1986.......so that's 26 years

Hey Elvis...that is the machine I told my buddy that works for ccg that they should get :shock: ...they have a few others in mind...429 is one of them...my guess...ec135...opp has them ;)

Internally, we're hearing the 145T2 will be a major consideration...........both politically and practically. Tho 105's have been around since '85

I hear the OPP are not happy at all with the EC 135's. The aircraft is OK, just not for their specific use. Its all a political game, l hope the one who is making the decision has touched a cyclic before.

They better trade them in for the T2...I sat in it down in florida last year...looks like a good ship...lots of room for the size...great seats..great vis...lots of jam :up:
