Its a terrible loss on the coast for sure. Poor guy was just a greenhorn too. Young guy... Really really tragic. Thoughts are with the family and all the guys in the air and on the ground involved.

Condolences and best wishes to all parties. We work in a very risk intensive business at the best of times, and pulling 4 tonnes of wood off of a hill day in and day out is even more so. An accident of this nature touches multiple families and every employee of all the companies involved, not just the people onsite. I hope that some sense can be made of what happened, with an eye to preventing recurrence, but most of all I hope that everyone can find peace moving forward.
