Turbomeca Engine 7 Day Run Requirement

There's a lot of checks like this, if you drill down into the details. The AS 350 requires runs for the hydraulics in winter. Bell/Rolls Royce have similar engine/lubrication stuff. I imagine most engine/airframe manufacturers have some stipulation that the machine needs to be ground run once a week (if not flying) for various things.

There's also lots of additional little checks that most don't do. How many do (or even know about) the 206 MGB serviciability check (pulling the oil jets and all)?
